Birmingham, AL resident Katherine "Kate" Sharp joined Atlanta, Georgia’s Ackerman and Co. in 2006 and served the full-service commercial real estate firm as vice president until 2012. During her time as a leader of the company, Ackerman had 8 million square feet of retail and mixed-use property under management, in addition to an investment portfolio with a value of approximately $1 billion. Furthermore, Kate Sharp produced a commercial real estate volume of $5 million for two years in a row, achieving membership in the Million Dollar Club.
While at Ackerman, Ms. Sharp gained experience in several areas of commercial real estate management and investing, including tenant and landlord representation, industrial real estate services, and medical and dental real estate support. She then joined Sharp Commercial, Inc. (SCI) as president.
As president of SCI, Katherine Sharp represented owners and tenants searching for warehouse distribution space in the Atlanta, Savannah and Charleston South Carolina.
